Di’ja Reveals The Odd Jobs She Did To Fuel Music Dream!

Sierra Leonean-Nigerian singer, Hadiza Blell also known as Di’Ja, recently opened up about her journey to music stardom in an interview on Coke Studio Africa and similar to mosts people’s journey to success the young singer reveals things weren’t easy for her.
Some of the jobs she did before she blew up were: waitressing & being a mascot at children’s parties to fund her music.

Encouraging young people not to give up on their dreams even when they fail.
She also added that young people should work, pray and persevere.
She said,

I’ve tried and failed a lot of things in the past, same with music, I don’t even think am good at it as much yet, I’m still getting there but I’ve failed many many times. Find what you are good at, practice every day, fail at it many times until you are good at it. Di’Ja is currently signed as an ambassador to telecom giant,Glo.

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
