Job Description

To manage and control all matters relating to delinquent Retail clients accounts (Unsecured products) by constantly reviewing collection procedures and ensuring early recovery actions are taken to maximize prospects of full recovery.
Highlights and analyses credit failures to identify ways of improving the credit approval process.

To maximize collections Manages the day -to-day operations of collections to ensure losses are minimized and recoveries maximized by the effective implementation of collections activities.

Effective management of collections operation to meet the net credit loss as well as net credit cost goals of the business.

Review an assess all newly identified delinquent loan accounts and introduce recovery action aimed at minimizing losses by error reduction Ensure credit checks are conducted on customers with delinquent accounts in order to assess collection prospects Contacts delinquent loan customers to negotiate payment schedules that are acceptable to the Bank and customers.

Highlights and analyses credit failures to identify ways of improving the credit approval process.

Providing concrete feedback concerning changes in customer paying behaviour to the policy team,CCH and to the Retail Clients Business head / Product Development Managers so that appropriate changes can be made to policies and procedures and business strategy.

Highlight and analyses credit failures to identify ways of improving the credit approval process.

Interprets MIS statistical information relating to performance of delinquent accounts Ensure remedial action is taken when required to keep performance in line with objectives. Customer contact through telephone, letters, visits and indirectly through collection agencies and attorneys Perform administrative work related to collection. Recommend accounts for legal action.

Maintain departmental databases, charge off, deceased, Insurance claims,field call and repossessions Assisting Head of Collections to identify control weaknesses and recommend remedial action and best practice as appropriate

Assisting Head Of Collections to implement changes to systems, procedures and structures to maximize quality of portfolio and minimize risk
