Moshood Ablola Polytechnic, Abeokuta is at the vanguard of technological institution in the country and it offers National Diploma and Higher National Diploma (both full time and part time) in various courses organised into the following schools:

Business and Management Studies; Communication and Information Technology; Environmental Studies; Engineering Science and Technology

Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CONTEDISS 14) Location: Ogun State Duties The Chief Executive Officer shall be responsible to the Registrar who is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Institution for the day-to-day administration of the Institution and shall perform such other duties as the Registrar may from time to time assign of him/her.

Qualifications and Experience Applicant should be a holder of Higher National Diploma at Credit level in relevant discipline plus seventeen (17) years post qualification cognate experience plus membership of a recognised and relevant professional body. (Evidence of community service is an added advantage).

Qualities

Applicant must be a person of proven integrity. He/she must be intellectually and professionally sound arid knowledgeable in the rules and regulations of Tertiary Institution administration. He/She must be versed also in Public service rules. He/She must be responsible to the Registrar and assist effectively in the running of the affairs of the Polytechnic.

Job Title: Chief Auditor (CONTEDISS 14) Location: Ogun State Duties The Chief Auditor shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day running of the internal Audit Unit of the Polytechnic and shall also perform such other duties as the Rector may from time to time assign of him/her.

Qualifications and Experience Applicant should be a holder of good Honours Degree not below 2nd Class Lower or Higher National Diploma (HND) not below Lower credit in Accountancy or Finance from a recognised institution of Higher Learning with at least sixteen (16) years post qualification cognate experience plus chartered membership of either ICAN or ANAN.

Qualities

The Chief Auditor must be a person of proven integrity. He/she must be intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in the auditing activities of the Polytechnic system. He/she must exhibit the readiness to assume full responsibility for running a Unit.

Job Title: Deputy Registrar (CONTEDISS 14) Location: Ogun State Duties The Deputy Registrar shall be responsible to the Registrar of the Polytechnic for the day-to-day administration of the Institution and shall also perform such other duties as the Registrar may from time to time assign of him/her.

Qualifications and Experience Applicant should boa holder of a good Honours Degree not below 2nd Class Lower preferably in the Arts, Social Science or Humanities plus at least sixteen (16) years post qualification cognate experience or Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline plus at least thirteen (13) years post qualification cognate experience, or a relevant Doctorate Degree plus at least twelve (12) years post qualification cognate experience plus membership of a recognised and relevant professional body. (Possession of Master’s Degree is an added advantage).

Qualities : Applicant must be a person of proven Integrity. He/she must be intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in the rules and regulations of Tertiary Institution administration. He/She must be versed also in Public service rules. He/She must be responsible to the Registrar and assist effectively in the running of the affairs of the Polytechnic.

Job Title: Chief Instructor (CONPCASS 8) Location: Ogun State Qualities Candidate must demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise applied research/projects/ exhibition/production and possess ability to take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience Applicant should be holder of good National Diploma (HND) not below upper credit plus at least sixteen (16) years cognate experience with membership of recognised professional body and proven evidence of outstanding contributions to technical/vocational education.

In addition to the above, the candidate should have either of (i) and (ii) or (iii) i) Two additional papers accepted for publication in reputable journals since last promotion plus 2 conference/seminar papers, ii) Not less than two (2) meaningful chapters contribution in standard textbook(s) iii) Evidence of at least three (3) practical project.

Job Title: Chief Lecturer (CONPCASS 09) Location: Ogun State Qualifications and Experience Applicant should be holder of Doctorate Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least twelve (12) years teaching/applied research industrial Work Experience OR a holder of an Academic Master’s Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized InstitutionofHigher Learning with at least fifteen (15) years of teaching/applied/research industrial Work Experience. Contributions to scholarly publications will be an advantage.

In addition to either of the above, the candidate should have:

Four (4) additional papers published in reputable journals since last promotion; Not less than five(5) meaningful chapter contributions in one standard text book or two (2) standard textbooks; At least five (5) other papers read at National or international Conferences/Seminars; Evidence of community service; Membership/registration with a recognised professional body as applicable.

Qualities : Applicant must demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise applied research/project/ exhibition and also demonstrate ability to offer academic/administrative leadership.

Job Title: Principal Lecturer (CONPCASS 08) Location: Ogun State Qualifications and Experience Applicant should be holder of Doctorate Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least nine (9) years teaching/applied research industrial Work Experience OR a holder of an Academic Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with at least fifteen (15) years of teaching/applied research/ Industrial Work Experience and contributions to scholarly publications will be an advantage.

In addition to either of the above, the candidate should have: (i) Four (4) additional papers published in reputable journals since the last promotion; (ii) Not less than four (4) meaningful chapter contributions in one standard textbook or one (1) standard textbook; (iii) Any of (i) or (ii) above plus at least three (3) other papers read at National/International Conferences/Seminars; (iv) Membership/registration with relevant professional body as applicable.

Qualities : Candidate must demonstrate ability to Initiate and supervise applied research/projects/ exhibition/production and possess ability to take on additional responsibilities.
