Accounts Payable Accountant
Job Responsibilities
Manage general systems and procedures for accounts payables and disbursements for Head Office and subsidiaries Review and verify invoices and check requests, set invoices up for payment, enter and upload invoices into system Track expenses and process users expense reports,prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, prepare and perform check runs including payment risk assessments Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records, reconcile accounts payable transactions, prepare analysis of accounts Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and in compliance with accounting processes Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues and answer queries, maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Produce monthly reports, assist with month end closing, provide supporting documentation for audits
Qualifications
7 plus years’ experience in finance with 5 years as a Financial Accountant First degree in Accounting or related discipline. Master’s degree is an advantage Professional qualification is compulsory. ACA/ACCA Proficiency in accounting software / ERP
Management Accountant
Job Responsibilities
1.) Manage the timely report of Management account of the organization
2.) Manage business operations cost and services viz-a-viz: materials, labour, stock of goods, actual vs. budgeted, etc.
3.) Support Management by supply business budgets and reports for up to five years, expenses and revenue trends
4.) Management of sales vs. stock volume/ value analysis, support long term business plans
5.) Manage tax remittance and processes of the business e.g. WHT, VAT,PAYE and other statutory payments, regulations of accounting procedures etc.
6.) Co-ordinate the overall accounting and reconciliations for the assigned legal entities, cash flow reporting
7.) Managing payroll systems and reporting on analysed trends of fixed, overhead, departmental components
8.) Support management decision making by ensuring that relevant and accurate data are available. Manage Revenue and Cost Projections. Prepare monthly variance analysis. Provide regular cash management reports and forecasting
9.) Asset management of the business including routine stock-taking, verification, inventory management, stock analysis and margin reports, rate of usage, re-order levels,
10.) Manage relationships with external auditors including audit processes and implementation of reports
Qualifications
1.) 10 plus years’ experience in finance with 5 years as a Management Accountant

Financial Accountant
Job Responsibilities
Management of accounting transactions to Balance sheet for
Head office and subsidiaries: invoicing processes, standard journals, petty cash systems, banking operations, trial balancing, Accounting report generation including P & L, trial balance, Balance sheets for divisions and Head Office, fix asset reporting, including depreciation computation, inventory reporting, periodical reporting and reconciliations, variance reporting, accounting database management, Ensuring accounting regulatory compliance in quality of work, reports and in the business Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data. Complies with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings. Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data. Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations. Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.
Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
