New Olori of Ife Speaks Out About Marriage to the Ooni-‘It was destined’ (Video)

For the first time, Olori Wuruola Zayban Otiti Obanor is speaking out about her marriage to the Ooni of Ife Oba Adewusi. “It was destined,” she told Ovation TV yesterday, adding, “I feel very fulfilled.”

Recall that the Ooni’s sisters, in an interview with Encomium, explained that the Ooni had never met his wife before, that she was revealed to him by the Ifa – the divine oracle.

Also, Capital NG, gave an insight to how the Ife royalty unions are revealed.

“Wuraola’s ascent to the throne, his bedroom and inner cockles of his heart, was divinely ordained. Simply put, Olori Wuraola, the new queen of Ife kingdom, emerged by a supernatural procedure; she was handpicked by the divine oracle of Ile Ife.
According to them, the King never met Wuraola before, it was the oracle that revealed her to Kabiyesi. The irunmole are still alive and they are doing wonders, according to the Ogunwusi ruling house.”

Meanwhile, the Ooni himself says he thanks God the Almighty for revealing his wife. “I am very grateful,” he said, adding, above all, I will give glory to God.”

Nigerian Instagram comedian, Ereme, this afternoon, revealed that he's facing a hard time and he is considering suicide. Apparently he'd spoken to actress Toyin Aimakhu about this before. No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
