BREAKING: Chris Ngige collapses at National Assembly



– Dr Chris Ngige has collapsed at the National Assembly

– The minister of labour and employment was defending his ministry’s budget when he slumped

– Ngige has been rushed to the hospital for proper medical attention

Emerging reports suggests that Nigeria’s minister of labour and employment, Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige collapsed today at the National Assembly.

Senator Chris Ngige reportedly slumped at the National Assembly today, February 18.

Daily Post reports that the minister collapsed while defending his ministry’s budget before the House of Representatives’ Committee on labour.

Sources disclose that he was immediately rushed to a hospital.

Senator Ngige’s sudden collapse is a wake-up call for Nigerian public office holders to be sure they are fit health-wise always.

It would be recalled that the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly,  in which he was also rushed to a hospital after he reportedly collapsed, while delivering a lecture in Lagos state.

The nation was also thrown into hysteria when on Sunday, November 22, 2015, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Kogi state, . Sources disclosed that the politician suddenly took ill and was was being rushed to Abuja preparatory to be flown abroad for treatment. However, his life could not be saved.

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme.
