Wale Claps Back At American Fan Who Mocked Olamide’s Style | Nigerians React

Nigerian-American rapper Wale is in Lagos and he made a surprise appearance to Toolz and Tunde Demuren‘s traditional wedding yesterday.

He posted a photo with Olamide (who performed) on his IG page and one of his fans insulted Olamide’s sandals. Apparently, Olamide was at Toolz wedding this is contrary to reports he wasn’t in attendance.

Here was Wale’s clapback: *watch out for foul language*

A fan commented that’s not even acceptable to wear to a US wedding, so they are wondering why he wore it here.On the other hand, Nigerian fans have been coming for Wale for his own style to the wedding – wearing a wool winter cap (Headwarmer. lol) and black sneakers with his black traditional wear.

“wale is this how they dress up for the weddings you go to in America? taa gerrout osiso!”

The unkind comments didn’t go unnoticed by Nigerians who returned fire for fire, defending Naija’s top rapper and their home country.

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
