Nollywood Comical Actor, Dede One Day has been reported dead after a brief illness.
The Nation reports that the comedian had died of high blood pressure in the early hours of today, December 14, after his performance at an event on Sunday.
Quoting the report, it read:
“One Day anchored a program for One, Mr Charles Esonu on Sunday in Aba, from there he went to Ugwunagbo for another event he was paid to anchor as Master of ceremony, but he couldn’t conclude that event as he fell sick and was rushed to hospital over BP related issue and he died late in the Night.”

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
