Buhari Set to Address Certificate Issue Today in Kano

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari will clear the air on the controversy surrounding his school certificates.

Yesterday, the Nigerian Army released a statement saying that they are not in possession of Buhari’s certificate. Also the same Nigerian Army once claimed that Buhari’s certificate are with them and intact.

The APC Director of Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said Buhari will address the issue of his academic certificate today, Janauary 21, 2015 at a press conference in Kano.

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
