Peruvian Soccer Fans Hire Witch Doctors To Stop Sanchez From Scoring Goals - Photo





So yesterday, some thoroughly foolish Peruvian fans employed the services of some witch doctors in their country to stop Chile international, Alexis Sanchez from scoring during  Peru's World Cup Qualifier vs. Chile yesterday.

Using a tortoise, they chanted incantations on his kit in the hopes that the forward will be slowed to the pace of a tortoise but guess what, the ex Barcelona player didn't only toss the net twice but also provided 2 assists for Chile during their 4-3 victory against Peru.

The 26 year-old also‎ became Chile's 3rd highest goal-scorer for the national team. Suffice it to say he is one of the most respected ‎footballers at the moment.

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
