Meet The Winner of MBGN2015 “Unoaku Anyadike”

The 2015 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigerian which just ended in Calabar, Cross-Rivers state and the winner was a 21-year-old Unoaku Anyadike that represented Anambra state.

The beautiful lady who represented Anambra state beat 36 other contestants to emerge the new queen. She will represent Nigeria at the next Miss World beauty pageant which comes up in China on December 19, 2015. Miss Ebonyi, Debbie Collins emerged 1st runner-up while Chizoba Ejike (Miss Abuja) was named 2nd runner-up. The 2014 edition of MBGN was won by Iheoma Nnadi….

No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
