Lately, more Nigerian pop stars are exploring their acting talents and making debuts in Nollywood movies.
First it was Davido in ‘John Zerebe‘, then Cynthia Morgan followed up with her appearance in ‘Wrong Number‘, while Sean Tizzle made his acting debut in Iyabo Ojo’s movie ‘Isina‘.
Now, Choc City president and rapper MI Abaga and Mavin star Dr. Sid both feature in a new movie titled ‘The Last 3 Digits’.
The movie directed by Moses Inwang stars Nollywood actors like, Nonso Diobi, Padita Agu, Bimbo Manuel, Yemi Blaq, Bishop Imeh Umoh, and others.
Mavin Records act, Dr Sid appears to be following in the footsteps of his late dad, Justus Esiri, who until his death was a legendary actor in the Nigerian movie industry.
The dentist turned music act has joined Choc City boss, MI in a new Nollywood movie, ‘The Last Three Digits’ which is set for release.
Dr Sid plays a youth corp member alongside Nollywood actor, Nonso Diobi in the comical movie which tells the story of a young man who meets the love of his life after a long time only for the last three digits to be missing when she gave him her number. The movie goes on an adventurous spin as the character played by Diobi tried figuring out the missing digits only to get himself into trouble. The movie directed by Moses Inwang who recently won the Best Director award at GIAMA also stars Madam Kofo, Padita Agu, Bimbo Manuel, Rachael Oniga and Yemi Blaq.
