ENDLESS LOVE: Fela’s American Girlfriend, Sandra Iszadore Arrives Nigeria For Felabration

Late Fela Anikulapo’s girlfriend, Sandra Iszadore has arrived Nigeria ahead of the 2015 edition of Felabration which begins on Monday, October 12, 2015. The American, who met Fela in LA in 1969 after the legendary musician rounded up a concert arrived the country earlier today, Friday, October 9, 2015. She will be speaking at the Fela Debates on the topic, ‘Human Rights as My Property’, alongside other speakers like Ayo Obe, Kunle Ajibade and Chidi Odinkalu. She started a romantic relationship after serving as Fela’s tour guide in the city of angels. Fela once described her as his teacher.

‘Sandra gave me the education I wanted to know.’ She also worked with Fela on a song titled, ‘Upside Down’ which Fela wrote for her to perform which was the only song she recorded with Fela. In 2012, she released her last album titled Nigeria which features 9ice and Dakore Egbuson.

Nigerian Instagram comedian, Ereme, this afternoon, revealed that he's facing a hard time and he is considering suicide. Apparently he'd spoken to actress Toyin Aimakhu about this before. She shared two videos on her Instagram wall, tearfully making a passionate plea for him not to commit suicide. Quote "If you can see this..please I beg you..I spoke to you few days ago..don't do this. I know its not easy. No Cooking With Fire This Sunday in Benin City Due to Funeral Rites ofthe Late Oba

As part of activities for the continuation of the 15 days funeral rites of late Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, residents in Benin kingdom have been told not to cook with fire on Sunday 5th June. It is the day of Igberimwin in the royal funeral rites programme. A press statement signed by Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Mr. Frank Irabor said the cooking without fire was in accordance with Benin customs and tradition.
